ABOUT WILLIAM CARMODY
William Carmody, M.Ed., Ed.S., MBA, LMHC, NCC is the founder of Counseling Hope Windermere, a practice with offices located in Windermere, Florida, that serves Windermere, Isleworth, Bay Hill, Dr. Phillips, Ocoee and Winter Garden, and Maitland, FLorida, that serves Maitland, Winter Park, and Orlando.
William Carmody specializes in marriage counseling, couples counseling and individual counseling. Additionally, Bill has extensive experience working with individuals and couples that are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction and substance abuse, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, stress management, as well as health and and wellness issues.
Bill has been certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors, and is a Nationally Certified Counselor and Therapist focused on helping people work through important life issues, to help each individual find fulfillment and satisfaction in life.
Bill has had particular success working with individuals and couples who have lost their passion for life and who want to move toward living their life to the fullest and making their dreams reality.
Bill earned his undergraduate Degree from Rollins College, his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Florida Institute of Technology, and his Master’s Degree as well as Specialist Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Florida.
Additionally, Bill has completed post-graduate training at Harvard Medical School in Clinical Mind/Body Medicine.
Bill has also been trained and certified in EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing.
He is a Nationally Certified Counselor as certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors(NBCC), a member of the American Counseling Association(ACA), the Association for Specialists in Group Work(ASGW), International Association of Addictions and Offender Counselors(IAAOC), and the Association for Creativity in Counseling(ACC)
ABOUT MARY MANCUSO
Mary Mancuso, MSW, LCSWI is passionate about providing support that is warm, and caring to her clients. She believes that everyone has the ability to grow, heal and find happiness and self-acceptance. Mary offers a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate space, to help her clients discover solutions, to resolve conflicts, and to strengthen and deepen relationships in their lives.
Mary’s approach is a collaborative approach that utilizes many different proven modalities including mindfulness-based practices, to help her clients achieve a greater understanding of themselves, their relationships and the world around them. Mary tailors her work with her clients to address their individual needs.
Mary received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and continued on to obtain a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work.
Mary has provided care and support through individual and group counseling to victims of domestic abuse, giving them hope and strength to move forward with their lives. She has experience working with teenagers as well as adults battling drug abuse. Mary also counsels couples with relationship and marital problems including infidelity, mistrust, and blended families.
Mary has worked in a variety of settings within the mental health and counseling field, in Central Florida, since 2009, and looks forward to helping you, with whatever challenges you may be facing.
